… well it`s not what you´re thinking right now. I had a date with myself and it was a real challenge so I am going to challenge you today in Part 2 of Spending time alone. It is one thing to like being by yourself at home with a good movie or a bath or whatever it is you like doing when you´re spending time alone. But going out by yourself is a whole other thing.
Let me tell you a little bit about this picture. It was in the middle of my 2 week road trip last summer which I took by myself. I stayed in this cabin off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was very quiet. Just me, the forest, North Carolina rain and this cabin. I’ll be honest with you. The first 30 minutes were hard. Would spending time alone in this cabin be filled with fear? Nobody knew where I was. I had no Internet and no cellphone connection and had been driving all day.
