I believe that you can be the change in your community. I know I have talked a lot about planning your time and the fall bucket list and watching movies the last few weeks but let us never forget that we are not just here for ourselves.
Let us make some popcorn and watch the cozy movie list one movie after another. It is that time of year when we we want to stay in with a blanket and some candles and get lost in a good movie.
Let us get right into it and watch some movies together, shall we?
Friends, it is here! Your fall bucket list with all the big and little things you could do this fall. Every year around this time my Instagram starts filling up with all the cute pictures of people apparently doing #allthethings like apple picking, pumpkin buying, fire making… etc. etc. you get the point. The list I am giving you today is more of an inspiration to break out of the day to day to do lists we have in the fall and enjoy the beauty of the season.
I remember a few years back when summer was ending and I was still totally enjoying every second of it but before I knew it, fall was here and I was in the thick of it not knowing left from right and always thinking about the next thing. I was not enjoying myself and was not enjoying the beauty that fall has to offer. After that year, I said no more and chose to make a change and I am sharing my tips to make it through the busy season with you today.
Maybe you are thinking right now, «why is she writing about the importance of rest when fall and the busiest season of the year is ahead”?
Because I believe that before we can handle the busy seasons in life we need to learn to stop and rest and do all the things out of a position of rest rather than a position of stress. When we are well rested, we can achieve more and contribute more.
I am currently sitting on my sofa at home and I am thinking about you. I have been the last few days. The fact that you would read the words I write and hearing from some of you on a regular basis is more than an encouragement to me. It is an honor and a privilege that I don’t take for granted. So today in the spirit of thanksgiving I want to share with you about the importance of thankfulness.
Ever wondered what to do on a Saturday where there is nothing going on? Don’t be scared to spend it alone but create an atmosphere and a day you will love. I added a list of movies I personally love to watch by myself and it’s not what you’re thinking.
Do you ever feel like there is just not enough time to do all the things you want to do or told yourself to do? I find that Fall is such a beautiful season and so I wanted to put together a list that you can add to so we don’t forget to stop and take in our surroundings. Let’s get started, shall we?
It is Fall and everybody’s calendars seem to be overflowing. I just recently had a conversation about that with some of my friends and it really prompted me to write about busyness on my instagram this week. It also really got me thinking about the good old work life balance.
Getting back into the swing of things after summer or back to school for grownups

I love the slow pace of summer, the long and warm nights. I love the easiness of just throwing on shorts and a T-Shirt and eating all your meals outside. I love summer and to me it is always the season of rest and getting refreshed for everything that’s ahead in the fall. But when you’re no longer on a school schedule it can sometimes be hard getting back into the swing of things. I have sometimes felt completely unprepared and then completely overwhelmed.
