It is 2020 and with all the restrictions going around I decided to throw a friendsgiving for two this year. There is also a special giveaway.
As I am writing this I am thinking about how different Easter 2020 is. I am sitting on my veranda looking out into the hills and I see sheep and the forest and I hear the birds and my wind chime made of shells but other than that it is pretty quiet.
The 2019 Christmas giveaway and a few words of encouragement
Posted: 20. December 2019
It is time for my Christmas giveaway and I am super excited about it. As you know, I believe in community and having people around the table to open up conversations about life, about the heart, about growing and about changing.
Time seems to be flying by and the last few days I was trying to think of creative ways to still make this Christmas count and slow down and finish this year in a thoughtful way.
I really hope last week’s gift guide was helpful for you and you are already in full Christmas swing. As promised I am sharing my super simple DIY Advent wreath tutorial with you today.
As I am putting together the gift guide for meaningful gifts 2019, I am listening to the first Christmas music of the season and had a “Grättimann”.
Last week’s Friendsgiving was so special and I was so excited to give away beautiful art and share the table with you. Today I am sharing my recipe for this simple garden salad with apple cider dressing with you.
Today is not just any Friendsgiving. Today is a German Friendsgiving and I have been giddy and excited to share it with you for quite some time.
I believe that you can be the change in your community. I know I have talked a lot about planning your time and the fall bucket list and watching movies the last few weeks but let us never forget that we are not just here for ourselves.
Let us make some popcorn and watch the cozy movie list one movie after another. It is that time of year when we we want to stay in with a blanket and some candles and get lost in a good movie.
Let us get right into it and watch some movies together, shall we?
