Be joyous in every season

Friends, I want to start the new year with this verse that was on my Christmas card this year.

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! – Philippians 4:4- TPT

I do not know how you are starting this year, what season of life you are in and what hopes you have for the new year. But I believe that whatever season you are in there is room and there is opportunity for joy and for celebration.

Sometimes that does not come easy to us and sometimes you need to choose joy dispite the circumstances. Dispite how long this season takes.

I believe every season has beauty from the barren trees of winter to the most colorful explosion of nature in the fall.

Let us start the new year with this verse to remind us and encourage us to keep choosing joy.
